Important Terms of Service
Your area or society should be serviceable and in a non-containment zone to be eligible for InstaRepair Service.
Fix My Laptop remains committed to providing a safe and reliable service while ensuring the health and well-being of those we serve. You are expected to follow suggested guidelines to provide suitable conditions for the engineer to operate. If replacement of parts is needed for a repair, they will be charged separately on actuals basis. Brand provided spare parts will be charged at MRP. These charges will be communicated by the engineer at the time of the visit, following which you have the choice to go ahead with the repair.
Availability of spare parts during the COVID 19 induced lockdown period and otherwise, may remain affected, resulting in failure to repair the device. Fix My Laptop is not responsible for unavailability of spare parts and in such cases, the engineer will attempt to repair the device on availability of the spare parts.
Fix My Laptop Service comes with upto 90 days warranty. In case a part has been replaced in your original Service: Within 90 days from the date of your device service, if your device fails to operate for reasons related to the said service, we will re-perform the service and repair or replace the defective part free of cost. The warranty excludes physical damage and liquid damage, or damage caused due to service provided by any party other than Fix My Laptop.
In case a part has been repaired in your original InstaRepair Service: Within 90 days from the date of your device service, if your device fails to operate for reasons related to the said service, we will re-perform the service and repair the defective part free of cost. However, if the part is beyond repair as per the engineer and needs to be replaced, you will be charged for the part and any associated consumables that may be required to make the device operational.
Refund of service charges can be claimed if the engineer is unable to visit your location or if you cancel the service before the engineer reaches the requested address for providing the service.
In case of postpaid service requests, you will need to make the payment for the service availed (applicable service charge plus spare parts charges if applicable) via an online payment link sent to you post the successful repair of your device.
In case you decide not to go ahead with the repairs recommended by the engineer, Fix My Laptop will charge Rs. 199 as visit charges. In case of prepaid service requests, we would refund any additional fee you may have submitted. In case of postpaid service requests, we will send you a payment link to pay Rs. 199. Post the payment of the same, your request will be closed.
Except where explicitly mentioned in this document, Fix My Laptop, its subsidiaries and affiliates and their officers, directors, employees, successors and (collectively “Affiliates”) make no warranties, representations, or guarantees in connection with the InstaRepair Service and /or the Remote Troubleshooting Service. Further, Fix My Laptop shall not be held responsible for any defamatory, offensive or illegal actions or misconduct of the engineers. You hereby expressly release Fix My Laptopo and its Affiliates from any loss, damage, liability or other consequence arising out of provision of InstaRepair Service and /or the Remote Troubleshooting Service and specifically waive any claims or demands that you may have in this behalf under any statute, contract or otherwise.
